Decks Awash Magazine
Jump to contentDecks Awash, a popular interest magazine with a sociological outlook, was published by Memorial University's Extension Service from 1968 to 1993. It developed out of an earlier Extension Services ETV program of the same name.
Its articles were authored by university employees and freelance writers, who travelled all around the province. The Decks Awash file can function as a history of Newfoundland and Labrador society from the late 1960s to the early 1990s. The multifarious work of Extension Services, including its Fogo Island Process Project and Decks Awash, is considered a high point in Memorial University's contributions to the community.
The articles are indexed and annotated in the Newfoundland Periodical Article Bibliography (PAB)
