Le Gaboteur
Jump to content"Le seul journal française à Terre-Neuve et du Labrador", Le Gaboteur was sponsored with the assistance of Federation des francophones de Terre-neuve et du Labrador from 1984-Oct. 1987 but became independent after then. The name was derived from the French word "caboteur" meaning a person who travels to outports with mail, information and news. Published entirely in French, the paper is devoted mainly to news of the Newfoundland francophone community.
