Ship Drawings from the Marine Institute

The Dr.C.R. Barrett Library has ship's drawings (blueprints) of approximately 235 vessels. The majority of these drawings were donated from the Marystown Shipyard. Many of the drawings are comprised of general arrangements and marine systems.

Some examples of vessels covered are offshore supply vessels, tugs, trawlers, ro-ro ferries, and semi-submersibles. Although the collection is not complete it is an important resource for students studying naval architecture and marine systems design.
