Finding Aid to Digitized Audio Recordings from the Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA) Collection
MUNFLA is engaged in an on-going effort to digitize its vast collection of audio field recordings in order to preserve them and make them available to researchers and the public. The listing below represents recordings transferred thus far from open reel and cassette tape to compact disc. Clicking a recording's MUNFLA CD-F number link takes you to its CD caseliner description which provides details such as the names of the collector and informant, location and date of interview, and physical characteristics of the original recording.
