Regional Language Studies... Newfoundland periodical

Established in 1968, the occasional periodical Regional Language Studies ... Newfoundland publishes short articles, research notes, information and bibliographies relating to all aspects of language in Newfoundland and Labrador. Topics include the lexicon, phonology, and grammatical structure of Newfoundland and Labrador English from a historical, regional or social perspective; place names and family names; and languages of the province other than English. Published under the auspices of Memorial University's English Department - at times jointly with the Folklore Department - RLS has been affiliated with the English Language Research Centre since 2005.
