Marine Institute Wavecast
WaveCast is the official podcast of the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland. Established in 2023 by the Marine Institute’s Marketing and Communications team, the series showcases the people, programs, research, and partnerships that support MI’s mission. Through these conversations, WaveCast highlights the Institute’s role in fostering economic development in the fisheries, offshore, and broader marine sectors.
Through conversations with faculty, researchers, students, staff, alumni, and industry partners, WaveCast showcases the diverse work taking place across MI’s schools and centres. The podcast reflects the Institute’s focus on knowledge generation, people, industrial solutions, technology, and applied academics while highlighting MI’s contributions to marine and ocean sectors in Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
